Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time

When you hold a banquet,
invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you.

Charitable Giving

Our August Charitable Giving collection held on August 14 & 15, 2010, will support the Society of African Missions (SMA), a worldwide organization of Catholic missionaries. For nearly 150 years, SMA missionaries have been in Africa, providing both spiritual and practical care for those they serve, particularly those people who are most forgotten or abandoned.

Over 1,000 SMA missionaries proclaim and live the life-giving Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Africa – bringing them the sacraments and service of the Catholic Church; establishing and supporting local churches, clergy, and lay leadership; supporting the African people and the Church in Africa as they struggle with political, economic, and spiritual challenges; but also bearing witness to what is good and beautiful in Africa.

Please be generous in your support.
