A NEW NAME FOR THE “BAND ROOM?”

As the Facilities Committee discusses the various spaces that need renovation, we realize that we need new names for some of our spaces:

THE BAND ROOM: The basement of the School currently is home to the Boy Scouts and storage for the
Faith Formation Program. It hasn’t been a “Band Room” since 2003 when John Ireland School closed. We hope to renovate it into a nice meeting room, but we also know that the Faith Formation Offices will have to move there temporarily (between the time when the Main Street School takes over the current Faith Formation Office for a Classroom and when the New Parish Center is completed.) Can you think of another name for this meeting/temporary office/storage space?
THE AUXILIARY ROOM: The room off the social hall kitchen is used for a variety of things, but it’s name isn’t very exciting. What (or who) is the “auxiliary?” Put on your thinking caps and see if you can come up with some more creative names for our spaces. We welcome any input, suggestions or questions as we try to come up with a workable plan for all our facilities here at St. Joseph’s.
