MEETING ROOMS

As the convent closes and the Mainstreet School grows we expect to lose three of those seven meeting spaces, leaving us with four.

How many spaces do we need? Because we are a very active parish, there are as many as five groups that will meet on certain evenings. And some groups may need more than one meeting space, as is the case for the
Grief Support Group.

Once the convent is renovated or replaced, we plan to have additional meeting and offices space to handle all our groups — but that point is about three years away.

The Facilities Committee is looking into renovating the lower level of the school (the old “Band Room”) as a first step, so we can have at least one more meeting space to ease the “crunch.”

We ask for everyone’s cooperation as we work together to share our limited space. There may be some creative ways to “get through the squeeze.”
