We have begun planning for a new year of programs and activities for Faith Formation here at St. Joseph’s! We recognize the role of parents as primary educators of their children, and we see our task as assisting you in that vital undertaking. Our Faith Formation programs are designed to deepen the relationship with Jesus Christ in both our parents and our students.

Registration for Faith Formation classes is necessary EACH YEAR for every child. The Faith Formation curriculum is a cumulative process designed as a prerequisite for entrance into the next grade level. The lessons from each grade level form a basis for the next year’s courses. To REGISTER, fill out the enclosed Registration Forms, and mail them to us or bring them with you to St. Joseph’s.

By enrolling your child in our program, you are indicating your strong commitment to the Catholic faith and your belief in the importance of forming a relationship with Jesus Christ. The greatest witness to this that you can give is your family’s regular participation in Sunday Mass. We strongly encourage you in this! Another important indication of your support is your willingness to volunteer your time to help in our programs and activities. We need weekly catechists, catechist assistants, office assistants, hall monitors and volunteers who work on special projects and events. We ask that all parents volunteer in some area of the program. Please fill in the PARENT VOLUNTEER form included below. Tuition is waived for children of catechists, catechist assistants, and office assistants who assist on a weekly basis.

As we look forward to another year with you, we are thankful for our very fine Catechists and other volunteers, for the support and generous spirit of our parents, and especially for the children who make our work rewarding.
