Your role (as parents) as the primary educators of your children is an integral part of our Faith Formation model, and we look forward to working with you to equip you with the resources you need to accomplish this. Our Faith Formation program is designed to deepen the relationship with Jesus Christ that we all have — both children and parents.
Registration for Faith Formation classes is necessary EACH YEAR for every child. Please include as much information as you can on the registration form, so our records will be as accurate as possible. We will be offering a discount on all registrations received in our office by August 31. To REGISTER, fill out the Registration Form, and mail it to us or bring it with you to St. Joseph’s Faith Formation office.
By enrolling your child in our program, you are indicating your strong commitment to the Catholic faith and your belief in the importance of forming a relationship with Jesus Christ. The greatest witness to this, that you can give, is your family’s regular participation in Sunday Mass. We strongly encourage you in this!
Another important indication of your support is your willingness to volunteer your time to help in our programs and activities. We need weekly catechists, catechist assistants, office assistants, hall monitors and volunteers who work on special projects and events. We ask that all parents volunteer in some area of the program. Tuition is waived for children of catechists, catechist assistants, and office assistants who assist on a weekly basis.
If you have any questions in regard to the Faith Formation Programs at St. Joseph’s, we will be happy to help you. Our classes begin at the beginning of September and continue through April.
