St. Joseph’s Church supports the programs of Hopkins/Minnetonka Family Resource Center with donations which are distributed by the center to needy families in the area. Volunteer opportunities are also available at the center. People needing assistance are referred to the variety of resources the center can provide.

LOAVES AND FISHES

Parishioners are invited to help with the program sponsored by St. John the Evangelist Church in Hopkins. An evening meal is prepared and served at Holy Rosary Church in Minneapolis on the third Monday of every other month.

St. Joseph’s Church is a member congregation of ICA. We support the above programs with donations which are distributed by ICA to needy families in our local area. As a supporting church there are many volunteer opportunities to help with this social justice ministry.

SECOND SUNDAY CHARITABLE GIFTING

Once a month St. Joseph’s Church donates the loose plate and designated monies to a specified chosen charity. A committee of volunteer parishioners researches, chooses and advertises for the specific monthly recipient.
