Music Ministry at St. Joseph is open to all who share a love for the liturgy and a desire to share their unique music gifts with the community. Bring the talents God gave you, and together, we’ll make a joyful sound!

CANTORS
The cantor is the primary leader of song throughout the liturgical year. Together with the various choirs, the cantor also serves as psalmist on Sunday mornings and supports the participation of the assembly through various elements of the Eucharistic ritual. Most cantors are members of the Parish Choir, however that is not a requirement. All require rehearsal and training, which can be arranged with the music director. Prior to major liturgical seasons, the cantors meet as a group to rehearse and socialize.
